MS CONCIERGE PT

One on One Manual Therapy that comes to you, anywhere in the Jackson/Metro area.

Home: Welcome

WHY CONCIERGE PT?

The answer to this question was, for me, very easy- I simply want to help people move and feel better. I have worked as an outpatient manual therapy based Physical Therapist for 10 years and found that as insurance regulations changed and as companies fought to stay above water, my time spent caring for patients became less and less. I chose to start this new career so that I can get back to providing high quality individualized Physical Therapy to people, and doing so in the convenience of their own homes was icing on the cake.

The answer for you should be- because you deserve to take control of your healthcare and receive individualized attention to your concerns. You also deserve to receive that help without disruption to your work/life schedule.

SERVICES

1) The first step is a free phone or video chat. I will ask you to tell me about your pain/concerns, your goals and your general health. If I believe that I can help you, we can set up our first in home/office session from there.

2)I will email you any necessary paperwork. At the appointment, I will bring all equipment, clean and disinfected. The session will last 1 hour, during which we discuss your concerns, assess movement patterns and dysfunction then dive right into hands on treatment. This can include deep tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, active assisted movements with manual feedback and more. The last part of the session will include practicing several stretches or strengthening exercises and watching you do them to ensure compliance and correct form.

4) Afterwards, I will email you my written documentation for the day as well as a receipt for your payment which you can often submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

5) We can set up as many or as few session as we both feel is appropriate. For a new problem, I will usually recommend 2 visits per week for 2 weeks to provide the best opportunity for physiologic changes in the tissue treated, followed by 1x/week until your symptoms are resolved.

The cost for a 1-hour session is $85. The hour will have a general structure as follows:

*5-10 minutes of discussing your pain/progress since last visit

*35-40 minutes of manual therapy as indicated

*10-15 minutes to review ergonomics, practice new exercises and discuss progress.

Of course, as indicated I am happy to spend more time focusing on areas that would be of most benefit to you: workstation set up, running or cycling form analysis and modifications, strength training modifications, etc.

FAQ

WHAT DO YOU TREAT?

I can treat anything that causes frustration, limitation or pain in your life, whether it is mild or severe. This includes, but is not limited to:
*chronic or acute low back pain

*chronic or acute neck/shoulder pain

*headaches

*TMJ pain/dysfunction

*dizziness/vertigo

*shoulder/elbow/wrist pain

*hip, knee, ankle, foot pain

*plantar fasciitis

*injuries that limit participation in sports, especially walking, running, cycling, swimming.

Aside from standard hands-on treatment that you can receive in any other high-end clinic, I am also licensed to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling if indicated/appropriate.

WHERE WILL YOU TRAVEL TO PROVIDE PT?

At this time, I will travel to your home or workplace (provided it is a safe environment with a large enough space for me to set up a portable table) within Jackson, Ridgeland, Madison or Gluckstadt.

DO I NEED A PRESCRIPTION FOR PT?

To remain compliant with all state regulations set forth by the MS Board of Physical Therapy, you must either have a prescription for Physical Therapy (written by a MD, NP, PA, dentist or chiropractor) or have a provider that you have seen in the last 6 months that will provide a signature on my initial documentation.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I do not accept any insurance plans as the cost to being in network and filing with them would take away from my ability to provide quality 1:1 service. I will, however, provide you with the paperwork that you can submit to your insurance to possibly get a reimbursement. The exception to this is for anybody who has Medicare as a primary or secondary insurance- in this case as I will be providing only services related to wellness, you cannot submit the receipts for a reimbursement.

I am happy to discuss this further and help you compare this cost with the cost plus time commitment you could incur in a typical outpatient setting.
